Building a set and telling a story on Video.

This is the crew we used to turn a storybook into a Video.
The crew we used to turn a storybook into a Video.

In this production we built a set and had 3 cameras to produce a video from a storybook reading.  An “Autocue” was used for the storyteller to read from while our floor manager switched graphics between  camera operators. Our sound girl “Irdam” found the effects  that embellished the narrative whilst “Lauren” our reader built up the imagination in the children’s minds.

Lighting is  one of the most important elements on any production. The use of a “cookie” gave our production added value . Switching between cameras with a vision switcher enabled a live recording to be achieved without editing taking place.

With some pre planning taking place, we managed to complete the task in 3 hours.
